Our charge is to create a built environment that promotes all aspects of human well-being, while respecting and sustaining the multiple eco-systems within the natural world around us.

Aligned Architecture is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a leading non-profit organization committed to expanding sustainable building practices. Our architectural staff members are LEED Accredited Professionals, certified to steward building projects through the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating Systems. We recently completed a project certified as platinum by Earth Advantage. Our staff is Passive House Certified and knowledgeable about the Living Building Challenge Standards.

We practice integrated design: reviewing each project with a focus on sustainability, we consider and prioritize appropriate approaches, and incorporate sustainable design strategies into project design in accordance with each client’s level of commitment and resources. We network with colleagues and providers, and link our clients with sustainable technologies vendors and utility and government incentive programs.
