Rosa Commons

Aligned Architecture is designing the Common Building for Rosa Village Co-op, a permanently affordable, resident-owned community in Eugene, Oregon. The co-op will provide 52 homes using a shared-equity model, building on the lessons learned from SquareOne Villages’ successful Peace Village development.

The Common Building will serve as the heart of the community, offering shared spaces that foster connection, collaboration, and daily life for residents. Its design prioritizes functionality, durability, and warmth, supporting community meals, gatherings, educational programs, and shared services.

We also collaborated with SquareOne Villages, Cultivate Architecture and Satre Group on the site design layout.

Through this project, Aligned Architecture reinforces its commitment to supporting local nonprofits and affordable housing initiatives that strengthen our community and provide more opportunities for people to live with dignity.
