4 Oaks Grange Cluster Subdivision
Aligned Architecture worked to maximize the potential of an underutilized site which already contained a six-plex but had room to house additional families. The property was thoughtfully subdivided to add five new two-bedroom, two-bath homes with an attached garage, increasing density while preserving livability.
The design began by creating a prototype house with an efficient floorplan that was then mirrored and rotated to reduce the sense of repetition. These new homes integrate seamlessly with the existing neighborhood. Each home features a gable roof, front and side covered porches, and private outdoor space, balancing community connection with individual privacy and ensuring safe vehicle and pedestrian site circulation.
By building around what already exists, the project demonstrates how thoughtful infill development can expand housing opportunities while strengthening neighborhood character.
