A Tennessee native, Leah relocated to Eugene after earning a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in the spring of 2020. While in college, she played leadership roles in the design school community, working as a teaching assistant and volunteering with local housing and community support organizations. These experiences provided opportunities for collaboration, communication, and establishing professional relationships with design colleagues and user groups.
As an architect-in-training, Leah strives to create environments that are responsive to the people that inhabit them, positively contribute to the community at large, and sensitive to the surrounding natural ecology. When not working to achieve these goals, Leah loves being outdoors, cooking, listening to podcasts, and traveling. During a semester of urban design study in Krakow, Poland, she traveled to over 40 cities in Central and Western Europe.
